Dean of Christian Service After ten years of prayer for an opportunity to serve the Lord Jesus somewhere other than where I had been living in the U.S., I heard about Word of Life Hungary from a Hungarian friend, Bela. The next summer, I went on a short term mission trip to teach English at the Summer Camp. During that mission trip, I heard about the Bible Institute and believed this could be the opportunity I had been praying for. Two months later, by faith, I enroll in the Bible Institute. This meant quitting my computer coding job at a mid-sized bank, selling my stuff, or giving it away, and moving far away. In my second year at the Bible Institute, the Dean of Students, Gabor, asked me to join the Deans Staff after I graduated. My wife, Timea, and I met at the Bible Institute and were married after I graduated. She had already graduated a few years earlier, and served with the Deans Staff, also. We now have four young children. I am responsible for organizing and inspiring the students in their ministry and work, as the Dean of Christian Service. I thank God for this work, and I access passion in my life, as I seek to serve Him this way. |
